Direct Support Professionals are the heart of Achievers Light. Our DSPs help adults with developmental disabilities live full, independent lives in their own homes and communities across King and Snohomish counties. If you're patient, dependable, and want work that genuinely matters, we'd love to meet you.
As a DSP you'll support clients with daily living skills, medication support, meal preparation, community outings, and personal goals. We provide paid training, and our team documents care using a modern electronic system. Day, evening, awake-overnight, and weekend shifts are available, with full-time, part-time, and on-call positions.
You must be 18 or older, able to pass a DSHS background check with fingerprinting, and have reliable transportation. A Home Care Aide (HCA) credential, 75-hour Basic Training, CPR/First Aid, and Nurse Delegation are great to have — but if you don't have them yet, don't let that stop you from applying. Credentials can be completed after hire, and we'll guide you through the process.
